Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner

My name is Liz Clarke, a Nutritional Therapist based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and I am passionate about using nutrition to support health. I qualified as a medical doctor in 1996 and worked in the NHS for 23 years. When my son was diagnosed with a serious autoimmune condition in 2014, I discovered the importance of nutrition in supporting and maintaining health. After changing our diet and lifestyle, we saw amazing results for our son and the rest of the family. This experience totally changed my perspective, and I am now passionate about helping others to view food as medicine, supporting health through nutrition. I went on to train in Nutritional Therapy and Functional Medicine. I truly believe that the burden of chronic illness can be reduced significantly by what we put on our plates.
