I offer a free 20-minute discovery call where we can discuss your individual circumstances and how nutritional therapy can support your health. This will help you decide if we are a good fit to work well together and if you would like to go ahead with booking an appointment.

I offer face to face appointments as well as online appointments via zoom. Prior to the initial appointment, I request that clients submit a typical 3-day food diary to me via email together with a list of current medications and supplements.

Initial consultations are extremely thorough and can take up to 2 hours in total. I will ask details of all current and previous health concerns, current and previous medications and supplements, family history, and lifestyle factors. We will discuss dietary choices, habits, and cooking methods in detail.

This will allow me to identify possible triggers and mediators of symptoms and which body systems need support. The aim is to tackle the root causes of ill health, rather than focusing on symptom control only.

At the end of the initial assessment, the client will have a good understanding of their initial diet and lifestyle recommendations and a more formal written plan will be emailed within 24 hours of the consultation.

Treatment plans will target areas identified as needing support, considering what is practical, achievable, and affordable for each client. The emphasis is on making sustainable habit changes at a pace that is comfortable and appropriate. Dietary advice will often be accompanied by advice on sleep hygiene, relaxation, stress management, and optimisation of movement and exercise.

Functional testing, to identify key imbalances, may be appropriate in some cases, allowing a more targeted treatment approach. This may involve collection of stool, urine, saliva or blood samples. Testing is done via external companies and samples are sent directly to the relevant testing laboratory. Supplements will often be recommended to support dietary changes. Supplements will be of high quality and sourced from reputable companies. Payment for testing and supplements is separate to charges for the clinic consultations.

Regular follow up appointments are highly recommended to provide support, monitor progress and add to or refine the plan as necessary. Email support is available in between appointments. I will always aim to respond to emails within 48 hours.
